SUMMARY:Oceanman Bali
DESCRIPTION:\nOceanman Bali brings the world’s largest open-water swimming series to one of the most dramatic coastlines in Southeast Asia. Held each June at Kedonganan Beach in Jimbaran, this three-day event draws athletes from across the region and around the globe to race in the warm, clear waters off Bali’s southern coast.\n\n\n\nChoose your distance: the full 10km Oceanman, 5km Half Oceanman, 2km Sprint, OceanKids (500m), OceanTeams relay, or OceanFins. Whether it’s your first open-water event or you’re chasing a qualification slot, there’s a category for every level — including junior swimmers from age 10 and adaptive categories for athletes with disabilities.\n\n\n\n2026 Dates: June 19–21 | Kedonganan Beach, Jimbaran\n\n\n\nRegistration and EXPO: Platinum Hotel Jimbaran Beach (June 19, 10am–5pm). All races are held at Kedonganan Beach, Jimbaran. Average water temperature 28°C. No wetsuit permitted. Safety buoy mandatory for all distances.\n\n\n\nRace Schedule\n\n\n\nJune 19: Registration & EXPO (10am–5pm) at Platinum Hotel Jimbaran Beach; course trial swims and an Open Water Safety Clinic at Kedonganan Beach.\n\n\n\nJune 20: OceanFins 2km (7am), OceanKids 500m (8:35am), OceanTeams 3×500m (9:30am) — all at Kedonganan Beach. Evening sunset carbo-loading party and medal ceremony at the beach.\n\n\n\nJune 21: Oceanman 10km (7am), Half Oceanman 5km (7:15am), Sprint 2km (7:30am). Award ceremony at noon.\n\n\n\nCut-Off Times\n\n\n\n10km Oceanman: 4h 30min total; checkpoints at 3km (1h 30min) and 6km (3h). Half Oceanman 5km: 2h 30min. Sprint 2km: 1h 30min. OceanKids, OceanTeams, and OceanFins have no cut-off.\n\n\n\nWhat’s Included\n\n\n\nAll registered participants receive accident insurance, a finisher medal for every distance, a race bag (swim cap, t-shirt, timing chip, and sponsor gifts), and full on-water safety and medical support. Top three overall and age-category winners receive trophies.\n\n\n\nAbout Oceanman\n\n\n\nOceanman is a global open-water swimming series with events on five continents. The Bali edition has been held since at least 2023 and is one of the most popular stops on the Asia-Pacific circuit — combining competitive racing with the warmth of Bali’s ocean waters and the energy of the island’s sports community.\n\n\n\nRegister at rockthesport.com ( https://www.rockthesport.com/en/event/oceanmanbali2026 ). Official event info at oceanmanswim.com/bali-indonesia ( https://oceanmanswim.com/bali-indonesia/ ).\n\nThe 2027 edition of Oceanman Bali is expected around June 2027 — exact dates to be confirmed.
