DESCRIPTION:\nThe Bali International Choir Festival (BICF) is one of Southeast Asia’s premier international choral competitions, held annually in Bali. The 15th edition runs July 26–30, 2026, at Dharma Negara Alaya (DNA Art & Creative Hub), Denpasar, bringing together choirs and solo singers from across Indonesia and around the world.\n\n\n\nThe festival runs four competition tracks: Open Category for beginner choirs from Bali Province; Solo Singing Competition open to all ages and nationalities; Choir Competition for choirs from Indonesia and internationally; and Choir Championship for elite choirs with Gold Medal credentials from other international festivals. Repertoire spans sacred, folk, pop, jazz, contemporary, and religious music. The Grand Prix champion earns a place at the 6th Asia Choral Grand Prix in Manila, Philippines in 2027.\n\n\n\nThe programme extends beyond competition: Choral Workshops (July 26–28, open to the public), Masterclasses with international experts including Dr. Gene Peterson, Sing with Composer sessions featuring Vytautas Miškinis, Dr. Darius Lim and Saunder Choi (July 29), Friendship Concerts (July 27 and 29), Choir on the Beach, and Meet the Jury feedback sessions (July 30).
