Hosted in the UNESCO World Heritage village of Jatiluwih, the festival blends traditional arts, local flavors, cultural processions, creative workshops, and sustainability education rooted in Tri Hita Karana. Through a collaborative eco-tourism approach, the festival connects people, culture, and nature into one unforgettable journey.\n\n\n\nNow in its seventh edition, the Jatiluwih Festival has earned a place on the prestigious Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) 2026 calendar — the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism’s national recognition programme for outstanding cultural events. This milestone reflects Jatiluwih’s growing reputation as a world-class eco-tourism destination rooted in authentic Balinese tradition.\n\n\n\nThe 2026 festival runs across two days. Day one (20 June) immerses visitors in Balinese performing arts, local UMKM market stalls, and hands-on subak rice farming education — timed to coincide with the harvest season. Day two (21 June) adds a first-of-its-kind sport tourism element: a 5K run through the terrace landscape in collaboration with ASITA (Indonesian Travel Agencies Association), commemorating 100 Years of Bali Tourism. Up to 2,000 runners from across Bali and beyond are expected to participate.\n\n\n\nAdmission is free. The festival takes place at Desa Wisata Jatiluwih, Penebel, Tabanan Regency, approximately 45 minutes north of Ubud. The rice terraces at Jatiluwih span 227 hectares and are part of the Subak irrigation system recognised by UNESCO in 2012.\n
