Longboard SUP Revolution Bali
The Longboard SUP Revolution (LSR) is Bali’s premier longboard stand-up paddleboard surfing competition, held annually at Oka’s Point in Sanur. Each spring, elite paddlers and weekend warriors from around the world gather at the Rip Curl School of Surf for several days of classic longboard SUP surfing and celebration of the discipline’s roots.
The 2026 edition — the LSR Cosmic Experience — drew 54 competitors from 12 countries including Australia, France, Indonesia, Italy, South Africa, Thailand, the UK, and Hawaii. Divisions cover Elite Men and Women through to Weekend Warriors and Over-60s, making LSR one of the most inclusive SUP competitions on the Bali calendar. Team Starboard dominated the 2026 edition across all major divisions, with Zane Schweitzer claiming the Elite Men title.
The event is staged at Oka’s Point, a consistent Sanur shore-break that produces long, classic waves ideal for the flowing, rail-to-rail style that defines the competition. Finals day 2026 built to an electric atmosphere as improving afternoon surf allowed nose-rides and cross-steps before a beach crowd.
The 2027 LSR dates have not yet been officially announced. Based on previous editions, the competition typically runs in early April in Sanur. Check the LSR Facebook group for updates.
