Puppy Yoga Bali

Puppy Yoga Bali

Puppy yoga combines a beginner-friendly yoga session with the company of rescue puppies available for adoption — and it has become one of Bali’s most unexpectedly joyful activities for visitors. Part wellness class, part animal encounter, every session ends with dedicated puppy playtime that requires zero yoga experience to enjoy.

Sessions typically run for one hour: a guided gentle flow while puppies wander freely around the mat, followed by 15 minutes of unstructured play. Groups are kept small — usually 10 to 20 participants — so there is genuine time with the dogs rather than a crowded photo scramble.

Happy Puppy Yoga Bali runs daily sessions year-round at three fixed locations: Ubud (near the central market), Canggu (Mahamustika Riverside in Pererenan), and Uluwatu (Jl. Pantai Bingin). Morning, midday, and sunset time slots are available, with the schedule posted a year in advance. Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach also runs a weekly Friday series each year in partnership with BAWA (Bali Animal Welfare Association), with proceeds going directly to their island-wide rescue and rehabilitation programmes.

Every puppy in these sessions is a rescue looking for a home. Even visitors who cannot adopt are contributing to BAWA’s spay/neuter and sterilisation work simply by attending — it is one of the most tangible ways a short-stay visitor can support animal welfare in Bali.

Book via WhatsApp in advance — sessions fill quickly, especially at the Ubud and Canggu locations on weekends. Wear clothes you do not mind getting muddy. Prices range from IDR 200,000 (Hotel Indigo BAWA series) to IDR 650,000 (Happy Puppy Yoga Bali) per person.
