Single Fin Sunday Sessions
Single Fin Sunday Sessions
Single Fin is Bali’s most famous cliffside bar — perched above Blue Point Beach in Uluwatu with an unobstructed view over one of the island’s best surf breaks. Every Sunday from 4 PM, it hosts the Sunday Sessions: an all-afternoon and evening DJ party that draws surfers, travellers, and Bali locals for what many consider the island’s best weekly event.
The format is simple: cold drinks, world-class DJs spinning Afro house, deep house, and disco as the sun drops into the Indian Ocean, and then the party runs well into the night. The crowd builds steadily from late afternoon, peaks around sunset, and keeps going until 1 AM. Sunday Sessions at Single Fin have been a Bali institution for years — the kind of thing that ends up being the highlight of people’s trips.
The bar sits along Jalan Pantai Suluban in Pecatu, about 10 minutes from Seminyak and 5 minutes from Uluwatu Temple. It’s open-air on a cliff edge, so the setting is genuinely spectacular at any time of day — but the 30-minute window around sunset, with the surf below and a DJ set above, is what people come back for.
Visitor tips: Arrive by 4:30 PM if you want an outdoor spot — Sunday Sessions fills up quickly and the best cliff-side tables go early. There is no entry fee, but parking and pool beds have their own charges. Check Single Fin’s Instagram (@singlefinbali) for that Sunday’s lineup before you go. Transport back to Seminyak or Canggu after midnight can be slow — arrange a driver or Grab in advance.
