Morabito Fridays
Morabito Fridays
Every Friday night from 10pm, Morabito Art Villa opens its beachfront grounds to one of Bali’s most respected weekly DJ nights. Set across a lush one-hectare tropical garden facing the Indian Ocean, the venue offers a rare combination of open-air intimacy and genuine production quality — international-calibre sound, fairy lights strung through palms, and a dance floor that runs until deep into the night.
The music leans underground: house, techno, and deep electronic — the kind of programming that draws a crowd who actually cares what’s in the booth. Past headliners have included M.A.N.D.Y., Andrey Pushkarev, and RAMMÖ. The villa’s garden setting in Berawa means you’re dancing metres from the Indian Ocean, with the breeze and the surf as the backdrop.
Entry is typically around IDR 200,000–250,000 at the door. VIP tables and daybeds are available but sell out — book in advance if you want one. The night builds slowly through the early hours and doesn’t peak until after midnight.
Morabito Art Villa sits on Jalan Pantai Berawa in Canggu’s Berawa neighbourhood, a short ride from the main Canggu strip. It’s one of a handful of venues in Bali where the setting, the sound, and the crowd all align — which is why Morabito Fridays has held its reputation for years rather than months.
Practical tip: Arrive closer to midnight if you want the dancefloor at its best. Dress is relaxed but smart. Check the Morabito Art Villa Instagram or The Beat Bali for the week’s artist announcement before going.
