Vegan Lawar

Lawar is a side dish of Balinese food. Many kinds of Lawar around Bali, and this recipe is the vegan one and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 200 gram long beans
  • 2 tablespoons of fried shallots
  • 100-gram shredded coconut
  • half spoon of vegan shrimp paste
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • a teaspoon of vegan bouillon powder
  • 1 leprous lime
  • 3 chilies
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil

How to Cook

Cut long beans into small pieces ( around 0.5 cm long).

Boil the long beans for 4 minutes then drain.

Fry the chilies till crispy.

Mix long beans, shredded coconuts, salt, vegan bouillon powder, fried shallots, friend chilies, and vegan shrimp paste.

For the final touch add leprous lime juice and mix well.
