Founded in 2007 by Janice Girardi, BAWA is a non-profit animal rescue organization in Bali, especially abandoned animals such as dogs and cats. The BAWA team has rescued a lot of animals especially Balinese dogs that were neglected. They provide the best place and the best food for the animals. Some of the services that BAWA provides include 24-hour emergency and ambulance services, disaster relief and response services, street feeding, and animal health services. Besides, BAWA organizes programs in schools and the community to educate everyone on the importance of animal welfare in Bali.
