Lukat Geni
The Lukat Geni Fire Ritual is one of Bali’s most intense sacred traditions, held annually in Paksebali, Klungkung. Performed by royal descendants and village youth, the ritual culminates in a symbolic fire battle meant to purify the self and the universe. Flames meet flesh, fear dissolves, and balance is restored as the fire burns out. A rare cultural spectacle deeply rooted in Balinese belief.
