Bali Vegan Festival

Bali Vegan Festival

The Bali Vegan Festival is an annual three-day celebration of plant-based living held in Denpasar, Bali. Organized by the World Vegan Organization (WVO) in collaboration with the Indonesia Vegetarian Society (IVS) and the Vegan Society of Indonesia (VSI) Bali, the festival brings together the local community, health advocates, and visitors from around the world.

The festival features a vegan culinary bazaar showcasing local and international plant-based food and beverages, inspirational talks and educational sessions led by health and wellness experts, cooking demonstrations and competitions, yoga and healthy exercise sessions, arts and cultural performances, and family activities including coloring contests.

The event is held at the Maha Vihara Field — the Maitreya Buddha Training Center (Pusdiklat Buddha Maitreya Bali) at Jalan Gunung Soputan No.88x, Pemecutan, Denpasar — a spacious venue that accommodates all activities across three days.

The 2025 edition was the 15th WVO Conference and International Vegan Festival, continuing a tradition that has grown steadily since its early years. Each year the festival draws greater participation from health-conscious locals, the expat community, and international vegan travelers visiting Bali.

The 2026 dates have not yet been officially announced. Based on previous years, this festival typically runs in mid-October over three days. Check back for confirmed dates as the announcement period approaches.
