The inaugural Bali edition of Day Zero took place on April 17, 2026 at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park — the world-renowned sunset-to-sunrise electronic music ceremony created by Damian Lazarus and his label Crosstown Rebels. It marked the first time Day Zero had come to Southeast Asia.
The setting makes it unlike anything else on the island. GWK is a dramatic 240-hectare hilltop park in Ungasan, built around the towering 120-metre Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue — a Hindu monument of extraordinary scale. At night, under an open sky with the statue lit above, the atmosphere shifts into something genuinely otherworldly. Day Zero leans into that: the aesthetic is ritual, not rave.
The 2026 lineup featured Bonobo, Âme, Jamie Jones, John Summit, Francis Mercier, Jan Blomqvist, Satori, Acid Pauli, Kitty Amor, and Damian Lazarus himself. Day Zero Week ran April 14–19, surrounding the main ceremony with satellite parties across the island at Ulu Cliffhouse, Savaya Bali, and Desa Kitsuné.
