Denpasar City Anniversary (Hari Jadi Kota Denpasar) marks the founding of Denpasar as the capital city of Bali, first established on 27 February 1958. Each year, the city commemorates this milestone with official ceremonies, traditional Balinese performances, and civic parades centred around Lapangan Puputan Badung and the Government Complex in central Denpasar.
