Diplo at Savaya Bali
Diplo at Savaya Bali
Diplo plays Savaya Bali on Thursday 8 October 2026 — doors from 3:00 PM on the Uluwatu clifftop, and the biggest single booking of the venue’s season.
Diplo — Thomas Wesley Pentz — has spent twenty years sitting at the centre of pop and dance music without ever quite belonging to either. He founded Mad Decent, produced M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes”, built Major Lazer into a global act with “Lean On”, and won a Grammy as one half of Jack Ü with Skrillex for “Where Are Ü Now”. He has since made a country record, an ambient record and a house record, sometimes in the same year. What that means for a club set is unpredictability: dancehall, baile funk, house, hip-hop and pop all arrive in the same hour, and the joins are the point.
Savaya is a fitting stage. The venue sits 100 metres above the Indian Ocean on the Pecatu cliffs, built around the illuminated Cube and a run of clifftop pools, and has been voted the number one club in Asia. Doors at 3:00 PM hand the afternoon to the pools and the support DJs, with the crowd building through sunset toward the headline set.
General admission is Rp 1,100,000 — the highest of the season, and a fair signal of the billing. The event is strictly 21+ with valid photo ID required at the door. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, capacity is limited to ticket holders and table reservations, and VIP tables are booked separately through the venue.
Practical notes: this is a Thursday, so traffic is kinder than a weekend, but still allow 90 minutes from Canggu or Seminyak. Dress smart-casual — the door code is enforced and beachwear will not get you in. Buy ahead rather than turning up on the night; this is the one most likely to sell out. Bring a card as well as cash, and arrange your ride home in advance.
