Ubud Open Studios
Ubud Open Studios
Ubud Open Studios is Bali’s biggest and most diverse celebration of contemporary creative talent — a three-day, self-guided art crawl where more than 60 local and international artists, designers, and makers open their private studios to the public.
Now in its fifth annual edition, the event runs June 5–7, 2026 across studios scattered through Ubud’s lanes and neighbourhoods. Attendees create their own route, choosing from architects, painters, photographers, ceramicists, illustrators, woodcarvers, costume designers, jewellery designers, leather makers, printmakers, and textile designers — the full width of Ubud’s creative community in one weekend.
The format is intentionally unhurried. Most visitors cover five to seven studios in a day. What makes it different from gallery visits is access: the artists and their teams are present and working throughout the three days, so you can ask questions, watch techniques in progress, and buy directly from the maker.
A Studio Showcase at BIASA ArtSpace anchors the event — a curated walk-through exhibition featuring the exploratory side of each participating studio: mark-making, sketches, material tests, and unfinished experiments that reveal how ideas develop before becoming resolved work.
Art Talks and Workshops run alongside the studio crawl for those who want to go deeper. Ticket buyers receive access to the exclusive UOS26 online map with studio pin locations to plan their route in advance.
Tickets: Available online via Megatix. An online pass covers all three days and all studios.
