The Bali Zouk Retreat is a five-day, all-inclusive Brazilian Zouk dance experience set in the heart of Ubud, Bali. Running 18–23 March 2027, it brings together an intimate community of Zouk dancers from across Asia and around the world for workshops, social dancing, and tropical adventures.
What’s Included
The retreat is fully all-inclusive: accommodation at a resort property in Ubud, daily yoga sessions to warm up before dancing, progressive Zouk workshops taught by international artists, afternoon social dancing and guided practice, five nights of evening parties, and all transfers and meals. Nothing to organise except your flights.
The Workshops
Workshops run in parallel tracks throughout the week, led by a curated lineup of international Zouk instructors. Sessions cover technique, musicality, sensory connection, and improvisation — suitable for intermediate and advanced dancers. The intimate group size means real access to the teachers, not just watching from the back of a ballroom.
The Evenings
Every night has its own social dancing space and official event party. One session takes place at an exotic outdoor location by the sea — a Bali signature that no indoor venue can replicate.
About Brazilian Zouk
Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance known for its fluid, wave-like movements and close lead-follow connection. It originated in Brazil and has grown into a global dance community with a strong presence across Asia. Bali’s growing international community and its reputation as a creative hub have made it a natural home for Zouk events.
Previous Editions
The Bali Zouk Retreat has run since 2019, with its home base in Ubud. The 2026 edition was held at Grand Mercure Bali Seminyak (12–17 March 2026). The 2027 edition returns to Ubud.
