Defected brings its Force of Nature party to Savaya Bali on Friday 21 August 2026 — the world’s most recognisable house music label taking over the Uluwatu clifftop, with doors from 3:00 PM and the night running to close.
Defected has been the standard-bearer for house music since 1999, the London label behind an unbroken run of records and a global party series that fills Ibiza’s biggest rooms, London’s Drumsheds and beach clubs from Croatia to Malta. Its sound is the soulful, vocal-led, unmistakably joyful end of house — the music the genre is named for, played properly and loudly. A Defected billing is less about a single headliner than about the label’s own signature: relentless, uplifting, built for a crowd with its hands up.
Savaya is the right room for it. The venue sits 100 metres above the Indian Ocean on the Pecatu cliffs, built around the illuminated Cube and a run of clifftop pools, and has been voted the number one club in Asia. Doors at 3:00 PM mean the afternoon belongs to the support DJs and the pools; the room properly fills as the sun drops and the lights come up over the ocean.
General admission is Rp 700,000 and the event is strictly 21+ with valid photo ID required at the door. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, capacity is limited to ticket holders and table reservations only, and VIP tables are booked separately through the venue.
Practical notes: allow 90 minutes or more from Canggu or Seminyak on a Friday afternoon, because the road to Uluwatu is slow at the end of the week. Dress smart-casual — the door code is enforced and beachwear will not get you in. Bring a card as well as cash, and arrange your ride home before you go; taxis thin out fast on the cliff road after midnight.
