Nasi Tim Ayam Jamur

This dish is very suitable to serve during the rainy season or when you are sick and this dish can be served with salty duck egg.

  • 2 cups of rice Rice
  • 350 grams of chicken fillet
  • 10 pcs shitake mushroom
  • 3 spring onions
  • 7 cloves of garlic
  • one medium size of onion
  • 5 cm ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 5 teaspoons of bouillon powder
  • half teaspoon of white pepper
  • 7 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 1.1-liter water

How to Cook

Preparing the soup


Place 1 liter of water, chicken bones, spring onion, 3 cloves of garlic, ginger, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 4 teaspoons of bouillon powder.
Low heat boils for 1 hour.


Cut the chicken into 1 cm cube.


Slice the mushroom.


Slice the onion and chop 4cloves of garlic.


Heat cooking oil in the wok, add sliced onion and chopped garlic. Stir for 3 minutes.


Add the chicken, oyster sauce, 2 teaspoons of bouillon powder, sesame seeds, white pepper, 50 ml water, and stir.


After 15 minutes add sliced mushroom, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce and stir. cook for 12 minutes more.


Wash and rinse the rice.


Place rice, 3.5 cups of the soup water in the rice cooker, and place chicken mushroom saute on the top.


Cook in the rice cooker till done.


Nasi Tim Ayam Jamur is ready to serve with the soup as the side dish.

To serve Nasi Tim Ayam Jamur place chicken mushroom on the top and shape the rice using a small bowl.
