Siomay Babi

This dish is one of Indonesian Chinese cuisine that is popular around Indonesia and can be enjoyed with peanut sauce or with chili sauce.

    Ingredients

    • 500 grams minced pork
    • 100 grams minced shrimp
    • 7 cloves of garlic
    • 1 cm ginger
    • half teaspoon of 
    • one teaspoon of salt
    • 2 teaspoons of bouillon powder
    • two teaspoons of sesame oil
    • 3 teaspoons of tapioka starch
    • 3 tablespoons shredded carrots
    • Dim sum sheets
    • Water to steam

    How to Cook

    Put garlic, pork, shrimp, salt, white pepper, bouillon powder, sesame oil, tapioca starch into food processor/food chopper, blend till smooth.

    Put around 2 tablespoons of mixed meat into dim sum sheet and put little bit of shredded carrot as a garnish on the top.

    Repeat until the meat is used.

    Steam the siomay for 40 minutes.

    Siomay Babi is ready to serve.
