Sate Kambing

This dish is originally from Madura and can be found easily in the street food around Indonesia.

    Ingredients

    • 500 grams of goat meat
    • 1 pineapple
    • 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds
    • 5 shallots
    • 8 cloves of garlic
    • one teaspoon of salt
    • one teaspoon of white pepper
    • 1 lime
    • 100 ml sweet soy sauce
    • one teaspoon of fried shallots
    • bamboo skewers

    How to Cook

    Preparing the spices

    Cut the lamp meat into 3 cm cubes.

    Place the pineapple into a blander.

    Mix pineapple and lamb, and squeeze them.

    Pound coriander seeds, shallots, garlic, and white pepper with mortar and pestle into a paste.

    Mix the spices paste and sweet soy sauce.

    Skewer the lamb and marinate them for 10 minutes with the spices.

    Grill the lamb until well done cooked.

    Place sate kambing on a plate, and add sweet soy sauce, fried shallots, and lime juice on the top.

    Sate Kambing is best to serve with rice cake and pickled cucumber.
